We are an established international company in the automotive industry preparing to enter the Georgian market. We are looking for a reliable, proactive, and well-connected professional based in Tbilisi to serve as our local Point of Contact and Market Development Representative.
This is a hands-on role where you will act as our eyes, ears, and voice on the ground in Georgia. You will work directly under our international team to support our market entry from the very beginning.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct thorough research on the Georgian automotive sector — including trends, competitors, customer preferences, regulations, and business opportunities.
- Identify and approach potential local partners, distributors, suppliers, workshops, and other key stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with local players on our behalf.
- Act as the primary point of contact between our international team and local contacts in Georgia.
- Provide regular reports, insights, and recommendations to support our market-entry strategy.
The role starts on a project basis with clear milestones and competitive compensation. Depending on performance and business progress, there is a strong possibility to transition into a full-time position with the company.
Who We’re Looking For
- You are based in Tbilisi and have strong local networks and good knowledge of the Georgian business environment.
- You are a self-starter who can work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision.
- You have a professional and friendly approach to building relationships.
- Previous experience in business development, sales, market research, or partner management is an advantage (automotive or B2B experience is a plus, but not mandatory).
- Excellent communication skills in Georgian and English; Russian is a strong advantage.
