ESPN, citing famous Italian referee Pierluigi Collina, writes that FIFA is planning a new reform regarding VAR.
Under the new rule, team coaches will have several opportunities to ask the referees to review a controversial episode, and if the referees do not change their decision, then the coaches will lose the right to request video replays in that match.
Initially, this system is planned to be implemented in lower-level championships, after which it will reach the top leagues.
It is worth noting that a similar system has been implemented in hockey and basketball. In tennis, the player himself can request a video replay.
