In particular, Georgia received 75% out of 100%, which is its historical maximum. In the world ranking, Georgia took 22nd place and 11th place in Europe. With an 11-year improvement in the rating, Georgia is in first place in the world.
“During this period, Georgia improved its assessment score by 50 percentage points. In 2012, Georgia was awarded only 25% out of a 100% assessment scale, 25 percentage points behind Belarus and ranked 71st in the world ranking. Today, Georgia is ahead of all EU candidate countries, 19 NATO and EU member states in the rating. These countries are: Austria, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovakia, Poland, Greece, Croatia, North Macedonia, Romania, Malta, Montenegro, Turkey, Bulgaria, Albania. Georgia received equal ratings in the ranking alongside such leading countries as Iceland, Ireland, Belgium, France, Japan, the United States, Estonia, the Czech Republic, etc.
"Georgia is a leader in the Caucasus and the Black Sea region, and is also in first place in the post-Soviet space, along with Estonia," the information released by the Georgian Dream states.
