Georgian fans will also be able to watch the Georgia-Ukraine football match on November 16 on a monitor installed at the First Republic Square.
As Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze stated at the capital's government meeting today, the municipality made this decision together with the Football Federation, as the capacity of the Batumi Stadium does not allow hosting all the fans.
"On November 16, the Georgian national team will host Ukraine. It is a very important match. I would like to take this opportunity once again to wish our boys success. Three points are very important. As you know, this match will be held in Batumi. Many fans want to attend the match, but the stadium's capacity does not allow for this. As in previous cases, together with the Football Federation, we have decided to give Georgian fans the opportunity to support our national team at the Republic Square. Come, this space will be well-organized in every way. A large screen will be installed, where we will have the opportunity to support and cheer for our boys," said the Mayor of Tbilisi.
