According to data from January-September 2024, Georgia received 3.461 billion USD in tourism revenue. Of this, the most was 1.563 billion USD in the 3rd quarter of the current year; 1.090 billion USD in the 2nd quarter, and 807 million USD in the 1st quarter.
As for the third quarter alone, out of 1.563 billion dollars, the largest amount, 294.6 million dollars, came from travelers from Russia. Georgia received 210.1 million dollars in revenue from travelers from the European Union countries; while 191.1 million dollars were spent by travelers from Turkey.
As for the remaining countries, the income from international travel in the 3rd quarter of 2024 was as follows:
Israel – $147.1 million;
Saudi Arabia – $75.5 million;
Iran – $61.7 million;
